checking in

This blog has been sorely neglected and not due to me having nothing to say. I've begun, stopped, continued so many posts that continue to linger in limbo while I wait for the time (and patience and energy) to complete them all. October is here and Ethan and I have devoted this month in it's entirety to pumpkin painting and pumpkin patches and Monster Mash and just soaking it all in. This time of year -- though still a hundred degrees here in Florida -- is our favorite.

I'll let this post sit as a placeholder for me to pick up where I have left on and work through the posts that I've yet to have the time to finish. Soon, though. Soon.
