bumpidoodle floor cushion review & bitty giveaway

Recently, I featured a post about our tot school room getting a makeover. I got a lot of e-mails inquiring about Ethan's reading nook:

The big fluffy frog, specifically. His name is Frankie Frog, and he's a Bumpidoodle. I know. Your next question is "what's a Bumpidoodle?" The name Bumpidoodle was created by a six year old little girl named Ellison from Minnesota. It was her dream that there would be many Bumpidoodles to be friends and play together! The Bumpidoodle brand (which was created, designed and continues to be developed in the USA) was first recommended to me by some friends after I was looking to find a suitable floor cushion for Ethan and I to do our reading on around Christmastime. Bumpidoodles were a hot ticket item over the holidays (as they should be!) and it took my husband three Target stores and a little bit of a late night wild goose chase to track one down, but he managed to find Frankie just in time for Ethan to be surprised on Christmas morning.

It was love at first sight!

Frankie has been an essential part of our family (and tot school room!) ever since his arrival. We cuddle up on Frankie Frog several times a day to do our reading. What I love about Frankie, aside from how cute and cozy he is, would be his dimensions: 30" wide x 15" height x 20" deep. This means that Frankie is a perfect floor cushion and reading pillow for Ethan to grow alongside. Though the entire length of my body doesn't fit on Frankie, there's still plenty of room for Ethan and I to cozy up together and do some reading. Frankie has gotten some good use several times a day since his arrival on Christmas and he's still just as fluffy as the day he arrived (he's made with a cozy polyester filling).

The faces on the Bumpidoodle floor cushions and bitties (the smaller pillow/stuffed animal size option, measuring in at 15" width x 7" height x 15" deep) are too cute and completely plush and soft. Several of Bumpidoodle's classic friends also now come in the bitty size, making them perfect cuddly pals to snuggle up with during naptime or play with. With such detail put into making each Bumpidoodle a cute, friendly, cozy friend, it's only fitting they have personalities and lives to learn about. What do I mean? Did you know Frankie's favorite food is zucchini or that he wants to grow up to be a marine biologist, as an example? Zucchini is one of Ethan's favorites, too, so he was pleased to share this in common with his pal Frankie.
