and now i know why all the trees change in the fall

Ethan and I tried out a new mommy & me class today. I recently had to purchase a dry erase calendar and hang it in our kitchen because I couldn't keep track of our busy social calendar. This week in particular is extremely busy and the next few will also follow suite; busy with friends and relatives coming to visit, busy with holiday festivities and seasonal festivals, busy with the general chaos that accompanies daily life with an infant.

As we were (of course) running late to our mommy & me class -- a journey set to the tune of a wailing infant who hates the car and a GPS intent on giving me only the wrongest of wrong directions -- it became clear to me that every day is undoubtedly an adventure these days. I said this to Ethan as I unbuckled him from his seat and ran through the doors hoping our tardiness would be overlooked. He laughed.

I think he likes adventures.

So do I.

I didn't know if you knew
so I'm taking the chance to say,
I had the best day with you today.

  1. he is looking so big! he is looking more like a big boy and less like an infant. sigh...to fast i tell you!
handsome as ever, of course :)

  2. He's adorable!

My baby hates the car as well. She's become a bit more tolerant of it recently, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one day she will enjoy it.
