Prefense Hand Sanitizer Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

I've been seeing more and more of Prefense hand sanitizer around on the blog scene so I was excited when they offered me the chance to review their product and offer one as a giveaway here on my blog! As I always say, I like to keep my household as chemical free as possible. I was immediately impressed by Prefense when I noted that it was alcohol free and safe for children. I was eager to see how it ranked among the other alcohol free sanitizers on the market and I'm pleased to say that it totally exceeded my expectations!

One of the things that makes Prefense different is that it is comprised of a silica-based formula. This silica complex adheres to your hands for 24 hours, creating an antibacterial barrier! One of the things that impressed me the most about Prefense was that it can last through 10 handwashings, too. I'm constantly on the go with Ethan, neurotically scrubbing my hands and applying hand sanitizer when we're out in public. Prefense helped me cut down on the amount of sanitizer I was going through with their awesome "one spray lasts all day" motto! Instead of going through nearly an entire bottle of hand sanitizer in a weeks time (I always carry a bottle in my diaper bag), my bottle of Prefense barely had a dent in it.

Prefense also contains natural botanicals that moisturize your hands. I used this product for a week straight during the time in which I was reviewing it and noted that my hands were extremely moisturized and soft. I didn't have to additionally moisturize them at nighttime thanks to the moisturizing botanicals that Prefense includes in their hand sanitizer. It's fantastic that something so gentle (Prefense is not at all toxic if accidentally ingested!) can also be so powerful: Prefense can kill staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains and more.

With an ingredient list that contains water, vegetable glycerin and essential oil fragrance amongst other gentle and natural ingredients, I was extremely impressed by Prefense. I'm not the only one. A couple of weeks ago during one of our mommy and me classes, I passed my bottle of Prefense to a mom who had asked if anyone hand any hand sanitizer on them as hers was empty. She squired the gentle foam spray on her hands and remarked how wonderful it was. When I shared that one squirt lasted through ten handwashings or a 24 hour span, she immediately asked where she could pick up a bottle. It's hard not to be totally wowed by Prefense.
