Toddle Along Tuesday: Our Wedding Day

I'm excited to be linking up for Toddle Along Tuesday. This week the topic is your wedding and I am pretty excited to be revisiting this day. Lately my husband's work schedule has been out of control and finding the time to spend more than an hour together before bed is a nearly impossible task. It's nice to be able to look back on our wedding day and remember how wonderful love is and how incredible it was to celebrate our love that evening in May of 2009.

After a two year engagement and me thoroughly obsessing over every detail, we were married on an overcast day at The Addison in Boca Raton, Florida. Our ceremony was officiated by my uncle and featured so many hidden personal touches. I walked down the aisle to a version of The Ataris' San Dimas High School Football Rules recorded wedding-style especially for us by our talented friend and musician Matt Minchew. The threat of rain was enough to move cocktail hour indoors but the skies didn't open up until we were making our exit after the reception. It was perfect.

Photographs by the amazing Debra Weisheit Photography of Jupiter, Florida.

    1. Ah, that's so awesome! Did she have the ceremony indoors or outdoors by the beautiful tree? My husband was strictly opposed to an outdoor wedding (plus in May, that would have been brutal!) but I think the ceremonies at The Addison by the big tree are so pretty!

  4. Best. Wedding. Ever. The standard that all other weddings I attend have to meet. No one has been close.

    1. Thank you! When they were describing that option to me, I didn't like the way it sounded at ALL until I saw pictures in an example and then I fell in love!
